The great thing about a Rural Landline or Wireless Phoneline with Woosh is that you get to make some great savings with our fantastic calling rates.

With all our RBI calling plans:

  • Local calls are free
  • You get one additional local calling area for free!
  • National calls are just 13 cents/minute
  • Calls to mobiles in New Zealand are just  23 cents/minute
  • Calls to mobiles and landlines in 40 countries (including New Zealand) are capped - this means you can call these countries, anytime, for up to 40 minutes per call, and pay no more than $2.40 per landline call and $3.40 per mobile call

How cheap will my calls be when I use my Woosh Rural Landline or Wireless Phoneline? 

Example 1: You phone a landline in Gore and you also live in the Gore local calling area. As the call is local, you can talk as long as you want for free.

Example 2: Your home town is Invercargill but you now live in Ohai. You call a friend in Invercargill for 30 minutes. You have added Invercargill as your Extra Local Calling Area so the call is free. 

Example 3: You phone a mobile in South Africa and talk for 30 minutes**.  The calling rate is 77 cents per minute so the cost of the call would be $23.10.  But because the call was shorter than 40 minutes we capped its price and you only pay $3.40 for the call.
