Rural Broadband Plans 

Not sure how much data you’ll use? No problem, try our Casual plan.  This gives you the flexibility to see what your usage is like, so you only pay for the data you actually use. 

Like more certainty around your monthly spend? You can choose between our great range of 8GB, 16GB or 32GB per month plans. These plans give more choice around how much data you can use each month compared to any other provider.

What if you need more data? Easy – once a month you can move between our 8GB, 16GB or 32GB plans without any cost to you. Or you can buy extra full speed data at a cost of $3.68 per GB. With other providers you can pay as much as $30 per GB and if you change plans, you pay too.

Looking for cost certainty? Choose our Unlimited Off-peak plan. You get 10GB for daytime use, and at night-time you can download without any nasty cost surprises because we don’t count how much you use. The off-peak download speed is 512kbps which is 10x faster than dial up.


  • You can change plans once every 30 days. Customers may only move between our Casual, 8GB, 16GB or 32 GB plans.  Customers on Unlimited Off-peak may not change between plans
  • * Up to 40 minutes per call, after that the standard per-minute rate will apply.
  • All prices include GST and are current as of 28th November 2012.
  • These fantastic deals are available to new and existing Woosh customers out of contract, but you need to hurry because they are subject to change without notice. A minimum 24 month contract and an early cancellation fee apply. A 36 month contract applies for Unlimited Off-peak plan.
  • Off-peak defined as 12am – 6am.  On-peak defined as 6am – 12am.
  • Unlimited Off-peak plan data speed 512kbps during off-peak period.
  • *Extra Local Calling Area calls are free for the first 40 minutes per call, after that your regular per minute rate will apply. You can make an unlimited number of calls, but Fair Use policy applies.
  • Woosh retains ownership of the modem.
  • Rural Broadband isn’t available everywhere. 
  • Wireless Phoneline not available everywhere.
  • Roaming Dial up is available for $10.17/month (charged only when used) for broadband customers.
  • Each of these plans has a monthly data allowance. If you go over this monthly amount, you pay only $3.68 per each extra GB used.
  • Woosh Wiring Assurance (available to customers with a Rural Landline only – not available on Wireless Phoneline plan) is an optional cover against faults in wiring. For a set monthly fee of $3.98 it covers the cost of parts and labour for the repair of faults caused by normal wear and tear in Telecom compliant internal wiring and sockets within your home. This fee covers the cost of labour and replacement of faulty parts with Chorus parts in the following situations:

•Interference on the POTS phone line or the line not working (unless caused by broadband or the customer’s device)

•Wear and tear of internal wiring from the External Termination Point (ETP) including copper wiring (BT or RJ11), Ethernet cabling (Cat6 and Cat5) and RJ45 sockets.
