Extra Data

To help you control how much you spend on extra data you can use the Extra Data Manager. You simply select how much extra data you’d be happy to pay for and it will be available to you every month.

There's no need to worry about selecting too much data, as you’ll only be charged you for what you actually end up using, for just a low $3.68 per GB.  With other providers you can pay as much as $30 per GB for extra data!

To save you from nasty surprises in your bill, once you have used all of your data we will slow your connection down.  To get up and running at full speed again just add Extra Data. You can set a limit to how much full speed extra data you want to use before you are slowed down again.

Example:
You're on Rural 16GB which has a monthly data allowance of 16GB. You often go over this so you select 10GB extra data. We will only charge you for what you actually use, so if you only used 3GB extra data out of the possible 10GB you selected, you pay just for the 3GB ($11.04).

To set up and manage your data go to Extra Data in My Account.

  • Extra data charges apply for the actual usage only, and are charged to your account on daily basis. Extra data is billed per kilobyte (1/1024 of a megabyte) used.

  • You cannot select a data amount higher than your Woosh credit limit allows. If you are over your credit limit then you’ll be slowed down irrespective of if any extra data has been selected.

  • If you select extra data amount lower than what you’ve already used this month you will be slowed down immediately.

  • Extra Data amount you select will be available to you every month. You can change the amount any time.
