Calling: More Free Calls 

If you've friends and family that live outside your free local calling area, it's great to know with your Woosh rural calling plan you can add an Extra Local Calling Area for FREE - saving you heaps on call costs. 

Example: You live in Otautau but have lots of family and friends in Gore which you regularly call. Because they are in a different calling areas you would normally pay the national calling rate for these calls. You add Gore as your Extra Local Calling Area. You can now make free landline calls to both the Otautau and Gore calling areas*.

  • Extra Local Calling Area calls are free for the first 40 minutes per call, after that your regular per minute rate will apply. You can make an unlimited number of calls, but Fair Use policy applies. 

  • Extra Local Calling Area is only available to Woosh Rural Broadband customers. Extra Local Calling Area isn’t available to customers with a permanent toll bar or local-only plan. You can add one additional local calling area (Extra Calling Area) to your plan. You can add, remove or change your Extra Calling Area once a month. 

  • You will still need to dial the area code when calling your Extra Local Calling Area.

  • When you change your broadband plan you retain your Extra Local Calling Area.
