Woosh Wireless launched its
new generation wireless broadband service in September 2003.
Our current network is not only a New Zealand first but a world first deployment of wireless broadband technology. This has given us a huge amount of experience in developing and servicing our customer base and has set us on a good path for the upcoming deployment of WiMax technology in late 2009.
Woosh also has an agreement with Telecom wholesale which sees it leading the charge in providing non-geographic pricing for broadband toll calling and home phone.
Woosh continues to focus on our existing customer base and at the same time is making preparations for the successful deployment of our WiMax network, bringing a realm of new possibilities to our customers.

“Woosh is having the same impact on the market place as the
mobile phone companies did when they launched mobile services here in New Zealand.
“It was competition which provided the impetus for the explosion of the mobile market place.
Wireless technology has the same potential to revolutionise the broadband and telecommunications marketplace.
“Woosh is providing a real broadband choice for New Zealanders.”
